High Performer

A supercar specialist has completed extensive refurbishment of its headquarters, including the installation of maxit self-levelling floor screed in two key areas.
Leicestershire-based Noble Automotive Limited utilised maxit Floor 4655 DuroFlow Rapid industrial screed in the development and assembly areas. Pump-applied, it was used as a levelling screed over existing uneven concrete floors at an eight-10mm thickness. This was followed by priming and the application of an epoxy self-levelling finish.
The Floor 4655 screed was applied in two 500m² areas that the company has refurbished to house development and production of its new hand-crafted M15 supercar. The resin-based screed was applied to each area in a single day, with priming for the high-build coating taking place the following day in a fast-track sequence. This allowed each section of floor to be laid from start to finish within five working days.
Graham Wright, contracts manager at Pola Flooring said: "We always find that the maxit screed works best as part of a system. It provides a good even flow when laying a fine finish and the best overall performance."
